As a woman-owned and operated business, trust and reputation is paramount to succeeding in a predominantly male industry. Our founder, Danielle Lawrence, started Tailwinds Logistics and Tailwinds Transportation out of a love of problem solving and a desire to take control of her professional path. As an attorney, Danielle spent years in the office learning the skills to manage and operate a business, negotiate the best deals, and above all, offer exceptional customer service unmatched by the competition. During her time litigating personal injury big truck cases and filing many consumer bankruptcies for truck drivers, Danielle gained a unique perspective of the logistics industry and she knew she could do better. She strives to create and maintain a business structure that doesn’t suffer from the cut-corners practices that lead to a breakdown in customer satisfaction, driver turnover, and safety failures that impact every driver and family on the road. Danielle is excited to be building this company alongside an amazing team!
